US Veterans’ Day

A memorial in Forest Lawn Cemetery

Veterans’ Day in the United States is celebrated on 11 November, our Remembrance Day.

The Milton J. Brounshidle Post 205 of the American Legion is holding a flag decoration ceremony this year at Forest Lawn Cemetery, 1990 Main Street in Buffalo to decorate the graves of sixteen Canadian and one British soldier who are buried there. We are invited to meet by 10:00 on 11 November at the Legion Post at 3354 Delaware Avenue in Kenmore to carpool to the cemetery and then return to the Post afterwards for a reception.

The Post Adjutant, Wayne Sorrentino, who is a regular participant at the HAMILTON & SCOURGE Memorials in Stoney Creek each year, would like to know how many are coming so that arrangements can be made (wayne.sorrentino868@gmail.com).
