The UNTD Association of Canada was formed in 1987. On 12 May 2023, in conjunction with the Centennial Celebrations of the Naval Reserve, the UNTD Association rebranded itself as NRAC, the Naval Reserve Association of Canada. The selection process is underway for a new badge to represent the new name.
