What can we say about “the fightingest ship” in the Royal Canadian Navy.  She arrived in Hamilton on her sixtieth birthday, 30 August, 2003, and now sits right in front of HMCS STAR at Pier Nine at the foot of Catharine Street North.  Check out our Links page for Jerry Proc’s HMCS HAIDA pages (more than you ever wanted to know but were afraid to ask), the official Parks Canada website or The Friends of HMCS HAIDA.  Better still, come down and visit between Victoria Day and Thanksgiving!  The ship is open from 10:00 to 17:00 Thursday through Sunday until Canada Day, seven days a week till Labour Day and then Thursday through Sunday till Thanksgiving.
